Quoizel Lighting has been family owned and operated since its founding in 1930. Originally in New York, the company has recently opened its 500,000 square foot showroom in South Carolina. Thanks to its enviable staff of artisans and designers, Quoizel Lighting produces stylish fixtures made with timeless appeal and beauty . This company does not entertain fleeting fads nor does it trail any company in the lighting industry in design innovation. This company even offers a full line of energy efficient outdoor lighting. Innovative designs and superior craftsmanship are hallmarks of Quoizel Lighting.

The unique materials used to create many of the light fixtures help to distinguish Quoizel Lighting collections from those of other manufacturers. The Salamander Glass Collection offers light fixtures with shades made of hand-blown glass the color of amber and in the shape of gentle flutes. Asymmetrically patterned hand-forged iron make up the framework. Fixtures include chandeliers, pendant lights, floor lamps and wall sconces available in this collection which is designed to elegantly adorn any room.

Many of the Quoizel Lighting collections incorporate some unusual materials like oiled brass and woven rattan which lend themselves to a very wide variety of motifs. There isn’t an interior design that a lighting fixture from this company cannot accommodate. Styles are available to suit casual or country décor as well as the formal and traditional.

Interior designers Laurie Smith and Richard Soard have teamed up with Quoizel Lighting to deliver two distinctively remarkable collections. Laurie Smith’s line, Illuminations, features clean lines and elegant simplicity delivering the promise of the name with unhindered light. The Richard Soard line, Raffine, uses amber colored glass shades and detailed metal-work.

Although Quoizel Lighting fixtures can be found in 1500 showrooms across the USA, they have a shop-friendly website which can cause hours of “oohs” and “ahhs”.
