Finally, you have placed the demand on yourself “MUST organize closet !”

And you did, and it took a lot of work! So, once you are done sorting out all your clothes and segregating clothes which you feel will no longer fit you, what is the next step that you have for them? Will you immediately throw them away or keep them in boxes and place them in your basement? Wait! Don’t be hasty in making that decision there are still things that you can do to enable you save some money and even feel happy with your accomplishment. Here are some of the things that you can still do to what was left.

Why not repair them? Pass them all through your hand held steam cleaner and then tidy them up! If your jeans no longer fit you well, have them repaired so that they become your size and you can use them again as cute summer clothes! Getting them repaired will cost you lesser amount of money than buying new ones. You may even ask the tailor to re-style your old jeans so that they would not look obsolete. If there are clothes which you refuse to let go because you really like them yet they don’t suit the modern style, you can actually re-work them. There are certain websites on the internet which provide guidelines on how you can change the style of your clothing.

Another effective way to organize your closet and get rid of the clutter, non-usable clothes is to swap them. Why not invite all your friends for a clothes-swapping party? This is a brilliant idea because it can benefit you and your friends who also want to get rid of their old clothes or swap off their X Loop sunglasses for something different, but don’t want to throw them away. Doing so can help you save some money and it can also bring new items to your wardrobe.

If you don’t have many friends who are with you on the idea of a swap-party, why not sell your leftovers? Those extra pairs of expensive designer shoes can make a quick easy buck! You can either hold a garage sale outside your house or sell these clothes at consignment shops. Or, if you have a generous heart you might also donate your old clothes to charities and foundations who you feel need your help.
